29th August - CONGRATULATIONS !!!!! to Aaron and Heidi on the birth of their new baby boy, Cooper Steven Blight (Great middle name Azza !). Born at 3.40am at Armadale hospital. Weighing in at a healthy 9 lbs. Both mother and bub are doing well, Dad is as you would expect knackered (after all he would have done so much at the birth wouldn't he....
)
Congratulations again on Villa's newest arrival... The Socials claim him under the Father / Son rule !!!!!
28th August - Mixed results all round this weekend, the First team went down 1-0 to Gwelup United (an Own Goal apparently) while the Ressies drew 4-4. Dads Army thrashed the snobs from Nedlands 8-1 while the socials were cheated out of a victory by the dishonest cheating bastards at Perth Royals. The so called 'Club Ref' disallowing a blatant goal while one of the Royals players (for player read THUG ....) went round kicking the Villa boys and still managed to stay on the ground. Disgraceful wouldn't have happened if I'd had of player, I would have taken the twat out after five minutes !!!!
So just so everyone knows....
PERTH ROYALS - A BUNCH OF CHEATING BASTARDS !!
As usual Match reports and comments for all the games can be posted on the forum.

Dads Army also put yet another win on the board when they convincingly beat Stirling Panthers 2-0. Last but not least, the Socials got their first win on the board since round 2 when they defeated Armadale Morgan Strikers 2-1, in a game that featured a stunning goal from Marty Lambrecht (or Martinihio as he is now known) and a cool finish from Lee Penney (we have finally found someone that can finish one on ones !!!). As usual Match reports and comments for all the games can be posted on the forum.
13th August - A good win for the First team this weekend as they defeated Olympic Kingsway 3-1. The Vets drew 1-1 with Shamrock Rovers, while the Socials got there first point in 9 games when they drew 1-1 with Bayswater Int. The Masters continue to beat up on everyone in the spastics division smashing North Perth 7-1 while the Socials played football for 80 minutes and then decided they were shagged conceeding 5 goals in the last 10 minutes to lose 6-1 to Fremantle United (Who were fielding TWO Amateur Premier league players). As usual Match reports and comments for all the games can be posted on the forum.
8th June - Please note the Socials game at Fremantle kicks off at 12.45 and NOT 3pm, Freo have changed all their times around. All Socials need to be at the ground for 12pm.
7th June - It was the 2nd round of the cup last weekend, The first team thumped the rather strangely named Golden Lily 3-1 (a team that sounded more like a bad chinese take-away than a soccer team, and judging by the score played more like one as well)... The Reserves travelled to Gwelup United had over 90% of the possession but couldn't get the ball into the back of the net, they ended up going down 1-0 to a lone Gwelup goal scored from a free kick. This week see's all the teams away from home, The First and Reserves travel to Kingsley SC at Chichester Park, Trappers Drive, Woodvale. 14th May - A fairly good weekend for Villa, as the First Team defeated Olympic Kingsway 3-1 (2 goals from Artor and 1 from Peter), whilst the Reserves drew 4-4 with Olympics Reserves. The Vets also drew with Mandurah, their game finishing 3-3 with once again Belly on the scoresheet (2 more for him - to make 13 for the season), Bill got the other one. Unfortunately the Socials were the only team not to get any points this weekend as they went down 7-2 to a VERY VERY GOOD Lynwood Colts side (Aaron and John Mckenna (not Mckenzie !!) on the scoresheet for Villa). As usual Match reports and comments for all the games can be posted on the forum. I've also added a new page to the website for the Villa-Likes, be sure to check it out every week !!!!

7th May - Mixed batch of results for the Villa sides this weekend, The First team lost 4-0 to Balga SC while the Reserves went down 3-1 to Balga's reserves. The Masters kept their winning season up when they thumped Stirling Panthers 5-2. The Socials were unlucky to go down 2-1 to Armadale Morgan Strikers, after conceeding two very soft first half goals they dominated the second half pulling one goal back and should really have had a couple more. As usual Match reports and comments for all the games can be posted on the forum.

The Masters went down at Hamersley Rovers 3-2 after leading 2-0 at half time (both goals scored yet again by Graham Bell). The Socials got their first win on the board also, defeating Sutherlands Park 2-1 after trailing 1-0 at half time (a Chopper handball giving Sutherland a penalty in the dying minutes of the first half). Goals from Jason Ho and Jason Pazzino securing the win. As usual Match reports and comments for all the games can be posted on the forum.

Good luck to all the teams.
16th April - The first week of the season is over and done with and a mixed batch of results for the Villa sides. The First team drew 4-4 with Morley Windmills playing in torrential rain. Villa actually led the game 3-1 at half time but within 20 minutes of the second half found themselves 4-3 down. Villa managed to pull a goal back and the game ended up all square. The Reserves went down to Morley Windmills Reserves 4-1 after leading 1-0 early in the first half and the game being all square at half time 1-1.
The Masters (or Vets, or old farts, whatever you want to call them) beat Swan IC 2-0 with Graham Bell scoring both the goals for Villa. Finally the Social team had already forfeited this weeks game due to some of their players not being registered in time, but agreed to play a friendly match with Western Border all the same. Villa took the lead in the first half through Kenny Wise and went in at half time 1-1. The second half saw Western Border over-run Villa and the game ended up 5-1 to Border. Match reports and comments for all the games can be posted on the forum.

2nd April - In yesterdays friendlies the Masters drew 3-3 with Rose and Shamrock, a game in whioch Villa were 2-0 down at half time. Villa edged out to a 3-2 lead in the second half and should have led 4-2 when Jubbly missed an absolute sitter (which would have also given him his hat trick), a late equaliser from Rose and Shamrock meant that the game ended up all square.
1st April - Thursday night saw a put together Villa side take on Perth Azzuri at Gerry Archer Reserve in a pre-season friendly, despite taking the lead in the first half the match eventually ended 3-2 to the Azzuri. Today see's the Villa Masters side take on Rose and Shamrock in a friendly again at Gerry Archer Reserve. It gives the Masters players a chance to run out some of those cobwebs and stiff joints and believe me if you've seen some of the Masters players then you'll know that there are plenty of cobwebs and stiff joints to run out. Game kicks off at 1pm, come along and cheer the old farts on !!!! In the Amateurs, the first and reserve teams will take on Gosnells City on the top pitch.
29th March - The Website has made a return and this time it is more interactive than ever. All the Match reports etc. will be able to be updated by anyone on the new Forum. It saves me from having to chase people up for reports etc. The Forum will also be the place to go to continue to post any news you may have. All that is needed is for you to register to the Forum and then you can all post away till your hearts content.
